The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of goals included within the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which was adopted at the United Nations Summit held in September 2015. These are goals to be achieved from 2016 until 2030. They comprise of 17 goals and 169 targets for achieving a sustainable world and sets out a pledge to leave no one behind.
